Wirewound tubular resistors
Wire-wound fixed resistors consist of resistance tubes in cemented (FZ) or non-cemented (FU) designs. In addition to devices constructed from tubes, the tubes are also available individually.
The protection class and mounting of the fixed resistor devices can be selected based on the different series.
Properties
(some specific to certain series)
- Constant ohmic value over wide temperature ranges
- Good thermal conductivity thanks to force-fit cementation
- Various diameters, lengths, connection and mounting options
- Housing made of strip-galvanized sheet steel
Options
- Tap clamp for adjusting the resistance value, enabling modification, adaptation, or calibration in the field
- Low-noise and low-induction design for use in special areas, such as residential buildings, hospitals, or opera houses
- Thermal overcurrent relay or temperature switch for high operational safety (standard for FZ..Q and F..T series)
- UL recognition for the American and Canadian markets (E212934) for the FZ.P., FZ.M., FZ.C., and FZ.T. series.
