The extension to the existing Hall 2, where FRIZLEN's parts production is located, will increase the available space in Hall 2 by approximately 50%. The single-story extension connects to the existing Hall 2 on the south side and will house most of FRIZLEN's press brake machines in the future. In particular, a new robot-assisted bending cell will complement FRIZLEN's machinery.
“With the expansion of our sheet metal processing department, we want to significantly reduce throughput times, especially for orders for large equipment. The new bending cell, together with an optimized production layout, will further increase our efficiency,” says Marino Pierri, deputy operations manager and project coordinator for the expansion project.
“With what is now our sixth extension here at our company location in Murr, we want to send a clear signal: for an optimistic view to the future and also towards Germany as a business location,” says Alexander Horn, managing partner. “With our motivated, well-trained team and our modern operating equipment and IT, we are confident that we will continue to supply our customers with high-quality and reliable FRIZLEN resistors in the future!”
On December 11, 2025, FRIZLEN celebrated the start of this important future project for the company with a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony. Many FRIZLEN employees and management, as well as employees of the trades involved and the mayor of Murr, Torsten Bartzsch, came to celebrate the symbolic start of the project.
Construction of the new building is scheduled to begin in January 2026. The building is expected to be ready for occupancy in the second half of 2026.
