On a hot summer evening more than 200 guests were invited to celebrate the 100th anniversary of FRIZLEN. Therefore not only the palm trees on the premises provided for a mediterranean atmosphere. On a path of history illustrating the company's history the guests arrived in the sheet metal working plant solemnly decorated. In between of punching and bending machines the guests took a seat at long banquet tables.

General Manager Julia Horn was delighted to welcome the guests to this rather exceptional anniverary. She took the chance to thank all employees for their commitment and drive through the passed years. Without them the success story would not have been possible. The mayor of the town of Murr, Mr. Torsten Bartzsch, emphasized the importance of companies like FRIZLEN to the local community. The General Manager of the chamber of commerce and industry Ludwigsburg, Mr. Jochen Haller, was happy about the success story of FRIZLEN. He handed over the chamber's certificate of honour acknowledging the 100 years of existence.

In his speech as the representative of the third generation General Manager Ernst Gehrung portrayed his grandfather and founder of the company Carl Frizlen. The "assertive tinkerer" hadn't let himself be discouraged by all adversities of the early years und brought the firm through two world wars. His son Karl Frizlen who had join the company in 1945 then set the course for the growth to come.

A multimedia-based journey through time illustrated the milestones of the company's history. As highlight of the evening the percussion show of Power! Percussion provided for the right beat: The five musicians got the audience rocking and defined the rhythm of the late evening.
