Flat resistors

This product group comprises wire-wound flat resistors as installable individual elements in open design in the GU and GZ series and encapsulated flat resistor devices constructed from them.

All resistors are available in various protection and mounting types. For high power applications, FRIZLEN offers resistor devices in multiple configurations as well as water-cooled variants.

Features

  • High operational reliability, as short-circuit-proof and self-extinguishing (all series except GU / GZ and GXTD)
  • Overload-proof during short-term loading due to form-fit or force-fit fixation
  • GU / GZ series: flat design, different lengths and widths, installable, various connection and mounting options
  • Housing made of extruded aluminum (all series except GU / GZ and GXTD)
  • Protection class up to IP 67, various protection and mounting types

Options

  • UL recognition for the American and Canadian markets (E212934) possible for designated series
  • Heat sink mounting possible for higher continuous power or more targeted heat dissipation (except GU / GZ)
