for special requirements. Thanks to their flat and variable
construction, these resistors are made for cramped spaces.
This is made possible by the base material, mica, and its
almost infinitely variable shape. Because they can be built
into an enclosed extruded aluminium case they have a very
high ingress protection (up to IP 67), which not only allows
usage in risk areas, but also means that these resistors can
be mounted on heat sinks or cooling surfaces to increase dissipation.
Various perforated sheet enclosures are available as additional
contact safety device, which are also suitable for integrating
thermal overload monitoring.
